Due to the nature of my small business I am often on the road or working remotely.   Please inquire on any item you may be interested in prior to making the trip to see if an appointment is necessary for that particular item.

I have, perhaps, the largest collection of vintage Windsor chairs in original condition or, restored/painted condition in the region. We offer many styles that will complement your decor ranging from primitive to modern. With my inventory, I am able to offer vintage sets of 8 plus Windsor chairs by many American manufacturers, including but not limited to: D.R. Dimes, Warren Chair Works, LeMieur, Leopold Stickley, Moosehead, Old Hickory, Mitchell, Charles Webb, Hitchcock,  E. R. Set of six Athol Table Windsor chairs consisting of two continuous armchairs and four side chairs, in gently distressed fresh black enamel. Pair Nantucket style fan back Windsor dining chairs. in fresh black enamel, gently distressed to highlight carvings and turnings. Made in the Eastern European country of Yugoslavia circa 1990s and sold by Lexington Furniture under the Bob Timberlake line, these chairs have an exaggeratedly tall height of 45 1/2″ with an unusual seat height of 19″. The arm height is 28 1/2″ and the seat width is 21″. These chairs also have beautifully executed carved volutes and the armchairs have carved knuckles. Armchairs offered at $350.00 each.

“Jefferson” Windsor desk arm writing chair by the Duckloe Brothers of Portland Pennsylvania. It is named the Jefferson because Thomas Jefferson purchased a Windsor desk arm writing chair in 1775 and it is believed to be where he penned the Declaration of Independence. It is constructed of mixed woods: Poplar seat, Maple legs, Hickory spindles and Ash bends. there is a storage drawer located below the seat. Set of eight, with the option for twelve, handmade tall back Nantucket style fan back Windsor chairs by Warren Chair Works of Warren Rhode Island. The chairs have beautifully hand carved volutes, or “ears” and beautifully sculpted hand planed seats. Armchairs are 44 `1/2″ tall, arm height 28 1/4″, side chairs 41 1/2″ tall, 19 1/2″ seat width, 24″ back width, seat height is 18″ on all. The chairs have been restored and are in fresh black enamel. paint. (WCW is now owned by O & G Studios who will make a new armchair for $2,800+). Price on request.

Set of six custom ordered Warren Chair Works of Warren Rhode Island. The armchairs were made in the Wallace Nutting style with hand carved knuckle details. The seats were made in solid cherry. The armchairs measure 40 1/2″ tall, 27″ wide outside arms, 27 1/2″ arm height, 21 1/2″ exterior seat width, 18″ seat height, 16 1/2″ depth front to back.  The side chairs measure 37 1/2″ tall, 19 1/2″ wide across back, seat width 16 1/2″, 17 1/2″ overall depth.  Armchairs offered at $695.00 each, side chairs $495.00 each, to be sold as a set of six only.

Set of four 18th Century Rhode nIsland style period reproduction Windsor chairs. Signed by unknown maker. The chairs have widely splayed RI style bulbous turned legs, RI style squares and peaked crest rail, and hand planed seats. In original worn red wash paint. Set of four English stick back Windsor armchairs. These chairs are made in England and are reproductions of a traditional 17th century design. They were distressed in the workshop at the time of manufacture to simulate age and wear. They are constructed from oak and elm woods and have traditional crinoline stretchers and double bow arms. Approximate measurements: 39 1/2″ tall, 28″ arm height, 18″ seat height, 20″ wide.. Offered at $395.00 each, to be sold and set of 4.

This D. R. Dimes Bowback Windsor Armchair is in original finish with New England vase turned leg, measures approximately 41-1/2” tall 16-1/4” front to back 25-1/4” outside arms 28-1/2” from floor to top of arm, 18” between arms. To our knowledge and observations, there has been no repairs to the chair. There is no structural damage. The chair is tight with no looseness or wobble. The chair is family used for at least 20 years. There are light scratches and dents as to be expected. Offered at $695.00.

Set of six signed Hitchcock Furniture “Seaport” stenciled Windsor chairs.  Circa 1962, these chairs are painted a deep sea green have a coastal seaport scene stenciled on each chair back.  The original paint was computer scanned and remixed to match, they each retain the original stenciling.  They measure approximately 34 1/2″ tall, 18″ wide at top of back, seat width 16 1/2″, 16″ deep front to back. 17 1/2″ seat height.  Priced at $1,195.00 for the set.
